Health and Care Research Wales is funded by Welsh Government.

The Health and Care Research Wales website is managed by the Health and Care Research Wales Support and Delivery Centre.

Your interaction with this website 

When someone visits healthandcareresearchwales.org we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This information is only processed in an anonymous way which does not identify anyone individually. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be open about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Search engine 

Search queries and results are logged anonymously to help us improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific data is collected by either Health and Care Research Wales or any third party. 

Health and Care Research Wales Bulletins 

We use a third party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our weekly bulletins. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our bulletins. For more information, please see Mailchimp’s GDPR statement. Consultations and online survey tools 

We collect information using an in-house survey tool. All data collected using this tool meets the UK GDPR guidelines and is only used for the stated purpose it was gathered.  

People who contact us via social media 

We use a third party provider, AgoraPulse, to manage our social media interactions. 

If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored by AgoraPulse and that social media organisation. Neither AgoraPulse, or Health and Care Research Wales will share the message with any other organisations. 

Individual social media organisations have their own privacy policy which can be viewed on their websites.

This privacy policy does not cover the links within this site linking to other websites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on the other websites you visit.
